The process of organising in political opposition to institutional silences requires a broad range of approaches and contributions. Critical social research has the potential to facilitate the building of strong alliances, with researchers being part of support and campaign groups, contributing to Sites of Resistance who collectively seek to reflect, discuss, plan and act on events, cases or issues which expose injustice.
